Steps for replacement of transfer case motor on 2006 Dodge Dakota(Customer Shared):
1. Mark driveshaft front and back flange, (so it can be replaced in same position.
2. Remove front flange bolts.
3. Remove back flange nuts and bolts.
4. Remove driveshaft.
5. Remove center nut on transfer case shaft. Use pry bar to push pressure as you tap flange with hammer to pop it loose.
6. Now you have enough room to remove and install new motor. Make sure to examine wires and connections. Torque all bolts to specs.
