They will keep the frame stiff and secure in the rear of your compatible for jeep, not allowing it to buckle or bend during hard abuse.
The bottom 5 bolts use the same locations and holes as a factory trailer hitch would mount. This allows you to build a bumper with a hitch if you desired.
This allows these brackets to work with aftermarket receivers and gas tank skids.
