Either of the receptacles on the inverters can be used.<\/li><li>Start one of the inverters and wait until the output ready light is on.<\/li><li>Turn both cord switches to <strong>ON<\/strong>(I).<\/li><li>Start the remaining inverter: wait until the output ready light is on before connecting the load.<\/li><li>When power is present, a light will illuminate in the three-prong plug that is plugged into the inverter.<\/li><li>To stop the inverters, unplug all connected loads, turn both cord switches to OFF (O) and unplug the cord on each inverter.<\/li><li>If the inverters&#8217; output is stopped during operation due to overloading, reduce the connected load by unplugging appliances, and then push the reset button and restart the inverter. When the ready light is on, the load can be reconnected.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"initial-oil-fill\">Initial Oil Fill<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Engine oil must be added when the inverter is on a flat, level surface, or an inaccurate reading may result. Do not overfill. If the engine is overfilled with oil, it can cause serious engine damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Loosen the screw and remove the engine oil fill\/drain plug service panel to access the oil fill\/drain plug (see Figure I)  <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.maxpeedingrods.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20.jpg\" alt=\"Engine Service panel\" class=\"wp-image-7353\" width=\"726\" height=\"726\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 1: c<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Clean the area around the Oil fill\/drain plug and remove plug (See Figure 2). You must add engine Oil before starting the inverter for the first time. See Initial Oil Fill for instructions on checking the engine oil level and the procedure for adding engine oil.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"adding-gasoline-to-the-fuel-tank\">adding gasoline to the fuel tank<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Required Gasoline \u2014 Only use gasoline that meets the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Unleaded gasoline only<\/li><li>Gasoline with maximum ethanol added<\/li><li>Gasoline with an 87 octane rating or higher<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Filling the Fuel Tank \u2014 Follow the Steps below to fill the fuel tank:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Shut Off the inverter.<\/li><li>Allow the inverter to cool down so all&nbsp;the muffler and engine surface areas are cool to the touch.<\/li><li>Move the inverter to a flat surface.<\/li><li>Clean area around the fuel cap.<\/li><li>Remove the fuel cap by rotating counterclockwise.(Notice: Do not overfill the fuel tank. Spilled fuel will damage some plastic parts.)<\/li><li>Slowly add gasoline into the fuel tank. Be very careful not to overfill the tank. Firmly grasp and pull the recoil handle slowly until feeling increased resistance. As the engine starts and stabilizes, turn the choke switch back into the RUN position (see Figure 9). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.maxpeedingrods.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/4.jpg\" alt=\"turn engine\/fuel switch to run\" class=\"wp-image-7349\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 9: turn engine\/fuel switch to RUN<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"stopping-the-inverter\">Stopping The Inverter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"during-an-normal-operation\">During an normal operation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a normal operation, use the following steps to stop your inverter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Remove any connected loads from the control panel receptacles.<\/li><li>Allow the inverter to run at &#8220;no load&#8221; to reduce and stabilize engine and alternator temperatures.<\/li><li>Move the engine control switch to the OFF position(see Figure 10).<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.maxpeedingrods.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/6.jpg\" alt=\"turn engine\/fuel switch to off position\" class=\"wp-image-7350\" width=\"726\" height=\"726\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 10: turn engine\/fuel switch to OFF position<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Tum the fuel tank vent to the <strong>OFF<\/strong> position(mxr2300 only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"during-an-emergency\">During an emergency<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If there is an emergency and the inverter must be stopped quickly, move the engine control switch to the OFF position immediately (see Figure 10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"using-efficiency-mode\">Using efficiency mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inverter is equipped with an efficiency mode switch to minimize fuel consumption. In efficiency mode, the inverter will sense the load and adjust the engine RPM to the current load requirements. Efficiency mode should be used only after the inverter has been warmed up to operating temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To turn on the efficiency mode, press the switch to the ON position.<\/li><li>If no load is present. the inverter RPM will drop down to an idle speed.<\/li><li>As a load is applied, the inverter will sense the load and engine RPM Will increase according to the load applied.<\/li><li>Press the efficiency mode switch to the OFF position run the inverter at maximum power and RPM.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"resetting-the-reset-breaker\">Resetting the reset breaker<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inverter will trip the breaker and automatically disconnect from the load when the controls sense a predetermined overload condition. The inverter engine will continue to run, but there will not be any electrical output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Turn off all devices and unplug them from the inverter.<\/li><li>Determine the wattage required from the devices being powered by the inverter. Make sure the wattage required does not exceed the maximum output of the inverter.<\/li><li>Press in the reset breaker to reset it (see Figure 11). <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.maxpeedingrods.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/7.jpg\" alt=\"press in reset breaker\" class=\"wp-image-7351\" width=\"726\" height=\"726\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><figcaption>Figure 11: press in reset breaker<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. Plug the devices into the inverter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5.
